THEY'RE COMING!!

What is this feeling? "Excitement" just doesn't do it justice. It's official; my sister Melissa, and her three beautiful kids are flying in from Hawaii for a visit next week. We haven't seen eachother since last March-the longest 10 months of my life. Now all I can do is sit in my classes, fidget, daydream, make bucket lists for us and fantasize about when I will see them again. I know this is exactly what my family needs right now;to be together, and to have the spirits of three amazing children, to be happy. The only thing that's helped us keep it together is remembering that three little angels somewhere in the pacific love them dearly. That, and my nephew's four simple parting words: "I'm gonna miss you". It's amazing how such a simple sentence can mean so much to a person-I guess I was impressed at how his 5-year-old mind realized before we had even parted that the absence of eachother's company would affect him. I came across this quote by Nicholas Sparks on pinterest the other day that helped me understand this better:
Even if it's for a week, or two, or three, this reunion will be the most rejuvinating and happy one I have ever experienced. I am so grateful.

I once told him that he was "The Eppie to my Silace" (Silace Marner)
He replied smiling, but questioninly: "You're the echo to my silence?"
